North Delta: near North Delta Secondary School. East Vancouver: Glo Salon – 1667 Renfrew Street Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive our exact address a day before your appointment through email.

Is a deposit required to book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a $20 non-refundable deposit sent to beautybyjemdj@gmail.com is required to secure your appointment. It goes toward your total service cost.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to cancel or reschedule (your deposit will apply to 1 reschedule within 1 month).​No-shows or any cancellations/reschedules made within less than 48 hours will result in:Loss of your depositFull payment of the missed service before rebooking.A new $20 deposit required to secure your next appointment.​We reserve the right to require prepayment in full for any client who repeatedly reschedules or cancels appointments, even within the 48-hour window. Two no-shows will result in not being able to book with The Beauty Jem anymore.

Can I bring a friend, partner, pet or child to my appointment?

To maintain a peaceful and focused environment, we kindly ask that you come alone to your appointment. The only exception is if they have an appointment with us as well.

What happens if I’m running late?

Please let us know as soon as possible. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule/cancel (considered as a no-show) or shorten your service.

What should I do before my appointment?

Avoid caffeine at least 4 hours before your appointment, arrive with clean lashes, skin, or brows, come with no makeup, and avoid using oil-based skincare or makeup near your eyes or brows the day of your appointment.Please check the Pre and Post Care page for more information specific to your service.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash is our most preferred method but we also take e-transfer.
